After police closed the forum, the probe did not end.Three Dutch men—aged 35, 28, and 31—were taken into custody by the authorities. They face charges of sharing nude pictures and hacking into computers. Two further suspects, ages 19 and 26, were also implicated with the forum, and the police seized their data as well.

It is believed that over 2,000 users have signed up for Anon-IB since its launch in 2014, and the service has stored links to over 30,000 media files.
